Emily and Will’s wedding was extremely fun.  It was fun to design, fun to deliver and fun to look at again in photos. Emily and Will had such a great vision of what they wanted for the day, elegant, and classic, yet colorful and exciting. They wanted to play up the rustic quality that comes along with getting married on top of a mountain (and one of the most beautiful mountain peaks there is, I might add…) while still maintaining a classic feel.

Both Emily and Will had such great attitudes and were so great to collaborate with.  Truly some great people and (as a plus) they were also laid back and truly a joy to work with!

And of course – Hope with The Wedding Studio was incredibly helpful in helping make all the aspects of the overall design of the day cohesive – she’s also a true gem to work with!!

We love these photos.  They perfectly capture the excitement of the day!

There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING more beautiful than an organic, and natural wedding.  (Well, OK, maybe there are some things that are more beautiful….but we just really LOVE this wedding.)

When we first met with Katie, we knew she had great taste.  And that was only reinforced with the help of Dana at Revel and Bloom.

Katie wanted a muted color palette and florals that focused mainly on greenery and small, dainty white flowers.  The centerpieces were paired with decadent linens to truly enhance the awesomeness of the room at Crooked Willow.

I know I say this a lot, but really, the pictures speak for themselves!

Leah and Kyle.  They were a truly amazing couple to work with.  Sweet, genuine, trusting and just totally head over heels for each other! They type of client that a vendor dreams of.  Seriously.

From our first meeting with these two, we loved everything about them.  But, most especially the look they were going for for their wedding.  Rustic, vintage romance with a bohemian flair.  I mean – come on you guys! Leah and Kyle both were on the same page with their “look” and knew from the get go what they wanted.  When we collaborated, we came up with a soft, lovely floral look that complimented the rustic-ness of the beautiful Midnight Ranch! I believe their photos – done by the amazing Jaimie Johnson Photography – speak for themselves!

Leah and Kyle also had some unique touches like the pizza bar and the live band!

With the help of some amazing vendors, like Jill Waldman of The Main Event, Leah and Kyle’s wedding day was amazing.

Leah and Kyle’s Amazing Vendors:

Meagan and Michael’s coral and navy wedding was to die for.  Seriously.  From the copper accents to the fantastically coordinated stationary accents, it was incredible.  The industrial chic wedding had the perfect backdrop as well – Mile High Station.  It doesn’t get much better than this venue.  The dark wood accents, and the industrial chandeliers all aided in bringing Meagan and Michael’s wedding to life.  And a special thanks to Michele Hart Photography for such incredible photos!

From the moment we met Meagan, we were in love with the look she was going for and wanted to bring her vision to life.  It helped that she had great taste.  Through our collaboration on the flowers, and their collaboration with their other fantastic vendors, we think they ended up with a pretty spectacular day.

Lauren and Jay’s wedding was the epitome of refined, natural geourgous-ness.  We worked with Lauren and her mother Karen to create a succulent heavy, organic beauty fest that involved (obviously) succulents, billy balls, fresh herbs, wild grasses and soft hints of dainty flowers like queen anne’s lace, to name a few.  Lauren and Jay’s personalities really shined through with their personal details of leather suspenders, soft green bridesmaids dresses, and lots of lace and birch bark accents.  We brought in antlers to the centerpieces to tie in the couples love for the outdoors and all things rustic. We think these stunning images provided to us by  eb+jc photography speak for themselves as to the amazing couple, and all their love for each other and their wedding day!

Kari and Nick’s wedding was amazing.  Simply amazing. Their wedding shows how simple, organic and natural weddings can be just as stunning as an opulent, over the top wedding.  We loved getting to work with this down to earth, sweet couple.  Their laid back attitudes toward planning, and their trust in us to deliver beautiful florals was wonderful.  We can’t get enough of these pictures, and we don’t think you will be able to either!  Thanks to Jessica with A Vintage Affair , and Sarah Joelle Photography for helping to create a truly memorable day for these two! You can see more photos from this special day on Grey Likes Weddings.

Janelle and Jeremy’s wedding was one of our favorites this year! They had such a great vision for their wedding and it turned out to be just perfect for them, and their venue.  We worked with Janelle’s mother, Susan, to create a romantic and fun design for the florals and we think it turned out spot on! With help from the ever wonderful Jessica with A Vintage Affair, this wedding was the perfect blend of whimsy, romance and fun!

Leanna and Christopher

October 10th, 2013

Oh, Spruce Mountain Ranch….how we LOVE you and the beautiful weddings that we get to do there. Truly, one of the most beautiful Colorado venues around.  And Leanna and Christopher’s wedding was the perfect fit.  Their rustic glam wedding added an elegant touch to an already beautiful venue.  They were a great couple, with so much love!  Their personal touches (which included Ellen, the bride’s mother, creating mercury glass-esque vases with her crafting expertise), paired with Dana of Revel and Bloom’s fabulous flair for the details, added so much character to the day.  Truly an immensely glamorous day! And thanks to Jackie Cooper Photo for these amazing shots!!

Until next time! XO

Elisabeth and Steve

October 7th, 2013

Oh wow, you guys.  We have been preeeettttty bad at updating our blog with our GORGEOUS weddings! But, what a year it has been!  We are starting to wind down from one of our busiest years yet, so we will be updating the blog with some of our great weddings!

We wanted to start with this beauty from Elisabeth and Steve.  They were an awesome couple and were incredibly fun to work with.  Elisabeth had a definite look she loved, and she trusted us to come through and create her elegant, classic and romantic wedding florals (and, we think we did just that!)  Using peonies, (who doesn’t love a good peony, am I right??), astilbe, garden roses, spray roses, ranunculus and dusty miller, this wedding was soft, feminine and elegant.  One that Elisabeth and Steve are sure to look back on in 20 years and get butterflies in their stomachs all over again!  Many thanks to Dawn Sparks Photography for these great shots!

Until next time! XO

Kendra and Tom

February 21st, 2013

Kendra and Tom’s wedding was so fun!  Lots of pink and green and lots of love to go around.  Kendra was very hands on throughout the whole planning process and it really showed on the day of the wedding.  Everything was so fluid and seamless and went so well together.  From the handmade flags that Kendra’s mother put together, to the smallest detail on the centerpiece that Kendra and Tom scoured flea markets for, every last detail of their wedding was put together perfectly.  It made for a wonderfully romantic and special day that Laura Mahony Photography captured flawlessly. Enjoy!

Until next time! XO
