I’m Lisa Anderson, designer and owner of Sweet Pea Flowers.  My spcialty is custom, fresh flower arrangements.  For over 20 years I’ve been creating flowers for weddings, parties, rehearsal dinners, Bat and Bar Mitzvahs, business events – well the list is endless.  I also supply arrangements for weekly corporate clients.  I enjoy creating a variety of styles – a modern arrangement featuring a single orchid stem is just as inspiring to me as a lush English garden bouquet.

My business philosophy is a little different than other flower shops.  Although I’ve had opportunities to expand Sweet Pea Flowers I made a conscious decision some years ago to keep my business small and personalized.  Simply put:  flowers are my passion.  It’s important to me that each bloom, vase and ribbon is hand selected by me.  Yes, I’m that crazy woman that scours every Goodwill in a 50 mile radius looking for antique brooches to embellish vintage themed bouquets.

I meet with each client personally.  My specialty is weddings, and many of my former brides have become lifelong friends.  If I had a busy shop with 10 weddings booked on a single day, in all likelihood, we would never meet.  And I certainly wouldn’t be able to do things like use your family heirloom vases or spend an hour brainstorming with you to find the perfect, one of a kind theme.  I have lots of experience working with clients on a limited budget as well as those with limitless budgets.  I work hard to make each event special and memorable regardless of my clients’ resources.
